Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Okay, so its pretty early in the morning. I wanted to leave a quick note before the mayhem begins, letting everyone who is following the tutorial know that I'll be out of town for one night. I'll be flying to Albuquerque today to record one of the voices for our film tomorrow morning. I'll be back at my drawing board by tomorrow night, so I should be showing some progress again by then. Not too much longer now.

Okay that was a boring note. Sorry for that as well. I'll do better next time.

congrats on the movie. Just saw the trailer and rather loved all of it. The main character's voice seems a bit... old? I guess that's waht it is. Other than that, the anomation, lighting, character design and premise of the movie looks great. I hope this works out for you in the long run.
