It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

It was great meeting you at the Con this year! (This is Kellie Robinson, Lenord's daughter.) Since I bought a mug right from your stall, I highly doubt it's defective. My mom loves it, in any case. Ha. That said, thanks for letting us know about the defective mugs! Typical that someone would get a hold of them and sell them.... *shakes head* I'm really sorry to hear that.

I hope you sold out at the Con, 'cause your work is fantastic! Take care. :)

Hope you had a great time at SDCC! Thanks again for reprinting the first sketchbook. That was the only one I was missing and already had written it off that I'd never get to see that art. So happy I can now! And in the remastered format! :-D

Ooooh you gotta love people and their antics.
Someday I will make it to Comic Con. I feel like a fan girl saying this, but meeting you is on my bucket list. Lilo and Stitch inspired my drive for animation and character design so I'd love to thank you in person someday for the inspiration! Not to mention meeting all the other artists. Maybe next year!
