Never underestimate music in this mix. The right music will keep me at my desk for hours, and the right music can make the difference between a great drawing and a so-so drawing. I have playlists that I write to, excercise to, draw to, and ink to.

My favorite? Thomas Newman's score for Little Women. Never gets old.

Mostly ANYTHING by Thomas Newman is good to work to...I still love the Shawshank Redemption soudtrack...but I totally agree with having the right music for the job...Super important...i too have different stuff to listen to depending on what I'm drawing...brilliant, brilliant work as well...huge fan...
