So this is interesting just because of the colored inks - a friend of mine named Chad Frye gave me a little Photoshop formula that allows me to separate the inks onto a different level than the paints, allowing me to switch back and forth and work a drawing like an old-style cel. It's a trick that probably everyone can do, but it was something of a revelation to me. I'll post it on my journal if I ever figure out how to post something on my journal, as it sounds like that's what a journal would be good for.

Frankly I always thought it was just common scence to keep your layers seperate in [Ps].
Well I tended to merge things when I was starting out but after so many times kicking and screaming cuz you cant go back and fix somthing that was merged, you start to keep it all seperate untill the end.

I usually have Inks, Flats, Colors, Shade/Tint each on thier own layer groups and each of those 4 have many sublayers to them. I have been giving the 3 flat, color, shade/tint each thier own different type of lighting/shading. when the 3 different types of lightings get combined it looks great.

I've always been a fan of your work, and she captures the essence of why. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you!

heh, i love your srt style. its so unique with your smooth clean curves. I also like how some proportions are exaggerated like the eyes yet it complement the style. It doesn't seem like a big deal but to me I enjoy seeing someone be able to put a twist in their art so when someone see this, they'll know you drew it. Awesome job, as well as your gallery!
